The Rowan Rotary Club sponsors a Rotaract Club at Livingstone College in Salisbury, NC and jointly sponsors a club with the Cabarrus Rotary Club at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College which serves both Rowan and Cabarrus counties. Both clubs are active and support community service events on their campuses and throughout their communities. Rotaract clubs are part of a global effort to bring peace and international understanding to the world. This effort starts at the community level but knows no limits in its outreach.

Recently RCCC 2005-06 Rotaract President Amanda Howard and RCCC Rotaract Advisor Garland Fulp visited Alexandria, Romania as part of a World Community Service District Showcase Project to help establish medical clinics which focus on the needs of children and expectant mothers. An additional component of the project is to help establish a Rotaract club in Alexandria.
